The Heirloom Pie
This pizza is amazing. It's my favorite seasonal special pizza served at Double Mountain Brewery. In fact, I look forward to it all year and when it arrives I order it as many times as possible before the tomato crop has come and gone. It is a white pie with house-made pesto base, whole milk mozzarella and fontal cheese, topped with fresh heirloom tomatoes and hard cheeses. It really doesn't get much better. The tomatoes are slightly sweet and the salty cheese and basil rich pesto form the perfect combination. The pizza is only on the menu as long as the tomatoes are coming in so get in there now and order one!
